Bound by brotherhood and united in duty, two young men made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country. Frist Lieutenant James E. Hartman JH, a brave aviator in World War II, perished in an airplane crash after his aircraft was shot down during a mission. Decades later, Lieutenant Joel Perry Gamble, following in the footsteps of service, tragically lost his life in an airplane crash near an Air Force base in Las Vegas. Though their lives were cut short, their legacy of courage and camaraderie lives on. Please read the newspaper clippings below to honor their stories, remembering them not only as soldiers but as our brothers whose bonds endured beyond the battlefield.
