Please join us this year for a very special Founders Day celebration, as we toast the 150th Anniversary of Phi Sigma Kappa! This is an outstanding achievement. Phi Sigma Kappa has been around longer than a lot of countries around the world. The 125th Anniversary of our Chapter will be next year. We have been very thankful that because of the solid, continued support of our Alums and our Actives, our Chapter and the national Fraternity remain strong and vibrant. We are honored to be joined in State College by Phi Sigma Kappa Grand Chapter President Chris Hoye.
This year’s Founders Day will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023! As you can see from our list of topics below, we have some important issues to discuss, all with the goal of maintaining and strengthening our Chapter and Chapter House. We look forward to your attendance and input. Please make plans and RSVP to reunite with your brothers, either in person or virtually.
We will start the celebration at 12pm. The formal portion of the celebration will last about an hour and a half. It will be followed by a late lunch/early cocktail hour with buffet hot and cold hors d’oeuvres.
We plan to enjoy the following activities:
– Address by honored guest Grand Chapter President Chris Hoye
– Presentation of Scholarship Awards
– Presentation of Man of the Year Awards (Actives and Alumni)
– Catch-up Conversation with Actives
– Virtual House Tour
– SURPRISE Announcement & Presentation
– Q&A session with Alumni and Actives
